Firstly, apologies to those of you who do not get a mention on this page, it's not because you have been forgotten or have been disowned! Those of you who are mentioned and have no photograph by all means email one to me and I'll add it.
Cornwall
Ross:
Ross is one of my oldest and best friends and go way back to when I was ickle, both growing up in Portreath. As kids Ross, Shaun and myself would usually hang out around the village. Ross now lives in St Austell with his girlfriend Michelle (Mitch) who is a great hostess and makes a great fry-up. I have been joined by Ross on numerous adventures to Twickenham to cheer on Cornwall and enjoyed many cold lagers.
Shaun:
Shaun and I were in the same classes at junior school and secondary school and both grew up in Portreath. As kids Ross, Shaun and myself would usually hang out around the village. Shaun now lives in London and although I haven't seen him for a few years I get the odd email now and again.
Matt:
Our paths first crossed at Portreath School in the infants class before Matt moved schools. We both ended up at Pool School where along with Simon and Shaun had a lot of laughs in Mrs Chapple's french lessons. Since moving back to Cornwall I see Matt a fair bit, it may suprise some of you to hear that the venue is usually a pub and Stella my drink of choice. A top guy who would do anything for his mates.
Pool School:
Well obviously I'm not going to reel off a big list of names, I'll just say a big 'HELLO' to all of you! I'm still in contact with a few people and have also got back in contact with a few thanks to Simon and Matt. I also see a few people at the gym (Ryan Doble, Andrew Brixton, Hailey Blewitt and Phil Ball). Having just moved back to Cornwall it good to bump into people I haven't seen for an age. Below is a photo of some of us (Rachel, Heidi, Andy & Robyn, Celia, Simon and myself) taken when we visited Heidi in Cheltenham.
University
Beth, Justine, Julian and Jane:
Beth and Julian were two of the first people I met at University and shared a house together for 3 years. Jane and Justine moved in with us during my second year. The picture below was taken before leaving the house for Justine's Graduation Ball, don't we all look smart! Since leaving university we still try and keep in contact but don't manage to meet up that often. We've been through a lot together and am proud to have them as friends.
Jones, Whiteside, Kane, Dom, Beanhead and Adam:
Tim, Will, Andy, Dom and Mike were all fellow civil engineering students at Plymouth. Adam shared a house with Andy, Mike and Dom. We still get together a couple times a year, usually for a weekend drinking session. We've probably calmed down a little in our old age. Below are a few photos of our exploits.

Bristol
Simon:
In my opinion Simon is one of the funniest guys I know. After finishing school and going our seperate ways I was reunited with Simon after seeing his profile on Friends Reunited. As it turned out, Simon had just moved into a house in the same street. Since getting back in contact we've had many drunken evenings usually finished with one of my special cocktails. After splitting from his girlfriend Simon moved into my flat for a few months, enjoying many evenings of stupidity.
Nick and Tavi:
Nick and Tavi are two good friends also from my time at URS / Thorburn Colquhoun. Love blossomed in front of our very eyes and Nick and Tavi married a few years ago, Tavi recently gave birth to their first child Nathaniel.
Rich:
Richard 'Charlie' Crocker, a loss to the civil engineering profession. We both joined Thorburn Colquhoun around the same time and had some great times out on site. Have great memories of doing absolutely nothing at work other than Rich, Nick, Max and myself taking turns to stand at someones desk and gossip. After leaving TC, Rich worked for several other consulting engineers before deciding to get out of it all and become a teacher.
Tom, Clappy, Johnny and Warro:
Fellow colleagues from URS Thorburn Colquhoun all of us with the exception of Warro deciding to jump ship pretty much around the same time. Brings back some good memories of the fun we used to have in the office; Tom and myself taking the piss out of Clappy defending his beloved Man United, Johnny and myself forever optimistic of Liverpool's resurgance and our invention of 'corridor cricket'.
